An exhibition “The windows of our home - 3” has opened in Narva art gallery, marking an important coming event for Estonia. Artists keenly reacted to the events of different significance – from entering the EU (A. Pärtel) to the meeting of the two, important only for them both (A. Romanov). They tell us about lines (to what departments?) or about the life of old Sidorka with his dog and a cat (Kuzja Zverev).
A landscape motive behind the window makes us happy with innumerous variants of form and volume games (V. Lantsova, V. Titov). The Dark Garden can be seen from a window, where a white building among the vivid colours of autumn becomes dominant by radiating light (B. Uvarov). One may read a story of a sawn down tree (L. Dmitrieva), discover the beauty of plants on the background of endless distances (I. Sopina) or notice man’s loneliness in time of city rain (O. Tjurina).
The ”windows of our home” is a text, which makes a thinking visitor see both real and virtual lay – out.
