Pain is a driving force for art. An exhibition is a challenge for artists, their discoveries through personal experience, soul pain, love suffering, global torments. A feeling of heart pain remains a human’s quality nowadays, in the materialist epoch of young and successful people.

      Casting is an old sculpture technique. A traditional sculpture prevails at this exhibition. There is a born in pain and recognized piece of art in the hands of a sculptor.

      The paintings, photo and video are chosen in accordance to the expressive and emotional nature of exhibition.

      A sculpture is an art of organizing the volume and space. Performance is connected to casting. This part is represented with the help of video, giving a possibility to see both avant garde and traditional art as they are.

      We may confirm that what is felt by soul and through pain, remains in soul.

      The joint project of sculptor society and Kunstisuvi and the exhibition “Valu” was exhibited in summer of 2003 in Concert Hall and Pärnu town gallery. The selected material of this exhibition may be viewed now in Narva art gallery.
