Making a dugout boat

The master of building dugout boats Jaan Keerdo will be visiting Northern Yard for second season. Who wants to know more, then it is possible to ask the master during his breaks on choosing right material, which tools and how to use them.

Because the master has other things to do during the summer, we have organized the building of dugout boat in three stages. Come and visit Northern Yard on these dates abd see how a log becomes a boat.

Jaan Keerdo will have couple of dugout boats with him and it will be possible to book a trip on them on the river of Narva. Those who tries them last year can assure you that these dugout boats are much more faster and have better handling then today plastic canoes.

NB! Dugout boat rides can be hold only with registration.
