A Festive Evening in the Refectory Hall
The pre-holiday evening will gather listeners in the intimate atmosphere of the Refectory Hall, where virtuoso works will be performed—from Saint-Saëns to Rachmaninoff and Amy Beach. On stage, two young musicians will appear, whose refined musical thinking and confident artistry have already earned recognition in Estonia and beyond

About the Artists:
Katarina Tamemägi began studying violin at the age of five under Rael Florea, later continuing at the Tallinn Music School. In 2023, she graduated from the first class of the Tallinn School of Music and Ballet. She studied at the Youth Academy of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Triin Rubel-Lilleberg and is currently continuing her studies at EAMT, also working under Mari Poll-Novakovic. Tamemägi regularly participates in masterclasses with Stanislav Pronin in Italy and is a laureate of several young string player competitions. She has performed as a soloist with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and organized chamber concerts at the Tallinn Adventist Church.
Marianne Liis Oissar began her piano studies at Abja Music School and later continued at Tallinn Music School under Mati Mikalai and Age Juurikas. At the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, she studies in Age Juurikas’ class, and in the 2024/25 academic year, she studied under Professor Konstantin Semilakovs at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna through the Erasmus+ program. Oissar is a laureate of several competitions, including 1st place in the Inter-School Intermediate Piano Competition (2022) and the Lilian Semper Scholarship (2025). She has performed at the “In Corpore” and KLAVER festivals, given solo recitals in EAMT’s concert series, and collaborated with Eesti Kontsert and Uus Kontsert.
The concert on December 21 promises a warm atmosphere and beautiful music—perfect for the winter season.
