Event overview

Lecturer: Jüri-Martin Lepp
The lecture will be held in Estonian.
Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.

In Narva, as in other European cities, church interiors in the 17th and 18th centuries were richly decorated with Baroque sacred objects, such as crucifixes and altar walls.

In the lecture, Jüri-Martin Lepp will discuss how technical studies and conservation of historical objects can bring back into the consciousness of art history a forgotten master from the 17th century. You will learn about the types of methods specialists use in their research.
