Love Nikolaevna Kiseleva, Emeritus Professor of Russian Literature, longtime head of the Department of Russian Literature and Slavic Studies at the University of Tartu. Author of about 200 scholarly works on the history of Russian culture in the late 18th and 19th centuries, as well as the book "Estonian-Russian Cultural Space" (Estonian edition: Eesti - vene kultuuriruum. Tartu, 2017; Russian edition – Moscow, 2018).

The lecture discusses the academic and teaching career of the world-renowned professor of the University of Tartu, Yuri Mikhailovich Lotman (1922-1993), a prominent researcher of Russian cultural history and one of the founders of the Tartu-Moscow Semiotic School.

This event is part of the lecture series at the Narva Museum. Lectures are held simultaneously onsite, in the museum halls, and on Zoom. The link for participants in the online environment will be sent to the email address provided upon registration one hour before the event.
