Chamber concert series "SPRING"
Event overview
This ensemble is currently nameless — simply a school ensemble. For now.
When students and teachers share the same passion, time seems to stop. Extra rehearsals are an initiative of the young musicians themselves.
The concert program will feature works for various instruments: viola da gamba, baroque recorders, baroque flute, and harpsichord. Among them are recorders that are highly accurate replicas of 16th-century instruments — much more demanding to play than their modern counterparts.
Their sound, combined with the realization that these historical instruments serve as a gateway to the musical world of the past, is truly inspiring. And very likely, that inspiration will reach the audience as well.
Performers:
- Monika Välište – recorder, baroque flute
- Anni Nurmsalu, Mia Novek, Lisandra Toomet – recorders
