During restoration works in the autumn of 2022, a magnificent find emerged from the ceiling of the baroque structure of the Tallinn Knighthood building—a canvas-based mural ceiling painting.
It is known that there are 8 more or less completely preserved ceiling paintings in Estonia. However, there were many more in interiors, and in several cases, their destruction during the bombings of World War II is known, both in Tallinn and baroque Narva.
